ENHANCING THE SKILLS OF SPORT ADMINISTRATORS THROUGH INTERNATIONAL LEARNING MOBILITY (S2A Sport Mobility)
The aim of the S2A Sport Mobility work programme is to offer the opportunity to 40 participants from the European Union and 4 targeted countries from Western Balkans (Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, and Republic of North Macedonia) to take part in a fit-for-purpose transnational training programme on sport administration that will be delivered through 3 modules of 1 week duration in 3 different Western Balkans countries.
The training programme will be supplemented by a 4-day tailor made national study visit for each participant to undertake a developmental experience abroad in the sport industry.
THE EU COURSE ON SPORT ADMINISTRATION :
The European Course on Sport Administration will be composed of three main Modules:
> Module 1 – Successful Strategy
> Module 2 – Effective Leadership
> Module 3 – Adapted Marketing and Communication for Sport
PARTICIPANTS
The 40 participants will need to be actively involved in the running of a sport organisation such as sport federation, sport club, local authority, National Olympic Committee, sport for all organisation etc.
A total of 32 participants will come from the Western Balkans (8 from each targeted country) and 8 from European Union Member States, and the partnership will be responsible for the selection to ensure a good mix and diversity of participants.
The profile of the participants:
> Aged between 20 to 35 years old
> Able to understand and speak English confidently
> Actively involved in the running of a sport organisation as a member of staff or a volunteer (e.g., a sport federation, a NOC, a sport club, a sport for all organisation, a sport council)
> Motivated to learn, move abroad and strengthen their network of contacts at all levels
> Inspired to enhance their skills and to play a more strategic role in their organisation or in the sport sector
> Committed to attend the 3 full weeks of training
The importance of group diversity and gender equality of participants will be respected (e.g., gender, type of organisations, sport).
The dates for the 3 weeks of training of the EU Course on Sport Administration:
> 27 September – 1 October 2021 – Module 1: Successful Strategy (ALBANIA)
> 25 – 29 October 2021 – Module 2: Effective Leadership (NORTH MACEDONIA)
> 29 November – 3 December 2021 – Module 3: Adapted Marketing and Communication for Sport (MONTENEGRO)
